Superb log chalets overlooking scenic Loch Insh and the mountains. Set in 14 acres of woodlands in the foothills of the Cairngorms National Park, the site borders an RSPB reserve and half a mile of Loch Insh beach frontage.
General comments about all the log chalets:
High open ceilings with open plan Kitchen/Living/Dinning areas. The bright modern kitchens are fully equipped with hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer dishwasher and all nessesary cooking equipment. Open verandas to enjoy the lochside views. BBQ's and garden chairs provided along with linen and towels.
Activites to do on site which are free between the hours of 8.30am-10.00am and 4.00-5.30pm between April and August (min two night stay.)

This log chalet is situated on a small hill overlooking the Loch, which can be seen through a grove of small trees. It is aprox. 100 metres from the restaurant and beach. Made of Douglas Fir logs and partially lined with the same timber; the living rooms and bedrooms have high timber ceiling with a predominantly glass wall facing the Loch and the bedrooms have high velux windows in the roof. Sleeping accomodation is one kingsize bedroom and one twin room. The shower and entry porch have underfloor heating. All chalets have TV and Video with Sky boxes. A door from the living room leads to the patio and BBQ area. Outside there is a picnic table and BBQ set. Parking is outside the chalet. Heating is metered electric.

Made entirely of Douglas Fir logs the living rooms and bedrooms have high timber ceiling.The bedrooms have high velux windows in the roof. Sleeping accomodation is one kingsize bedroom and one twin room there is also a sleeping platform suitable for kids 8yrs and up. Glenfarclas has a log stove with underfloor heating.All these chalets have a TV and Video with Sky boxes. Outside there is a picnic table and BBQ set.Parking is outside the chalet.
