Cairngorm Mountain - Ski and Snowboard Hire
CairnGorm Mountain's very own ski and snowboard hire can provide you with everything you need to get you started.
Our ski/board hire has the latest equipment range and is fully serviced and maintained by qualified technicians.
You can hire everything on the mountain including: skis, boots, sticks, snowboards, blades, sledges, ski jackets, ski trousers and helmets. We have an excellent range of small sizes suitable for ages 5+.
All you need to do is bring your hats, gloves, goggles and socks - but even if you forget these you can get them in the mountain shop.
Please note that at weekends and during holiday periods hire can be very busy. It takes time to ensure that you are correctly fitted for skis and boots so please be patient.

All hire items require a cash/credit card deposit of £200.

Please note that ski hire can not be booked in advance. However if you are taking ski lessons you can pre book your equipment when you book your lesson. To book lessons please call the ski school on 01479 861319.

Opening Times:
Ski Hire is open daily subject to weather and ski conditions throughout the winter season. Please expect to queue during busy periods.
Hire opens from 8.30am and closes at 4.30pm (times may vary according to day light hours in winter)
Admission: Visitors who require hire equipment should go first to the ticket office and pay for hire and their lift ticket at the ticket office and then collect their equipment from ski hire.
Visitors who have booked ski lessons should go directly to the ski school desk where they will register for their lesson, collect their ticket and hire.
