Sledging on real snow is an activity that can be enjoyed by the whole family - no matter what age!
At CairnGorm Mountain, throughout the winter months when we have snow, there is a family fun area just outside the Ptarmigan Restaurant at the top station where everyone can enjoy a bit of sledging, snow castle building and snow ball target practise. Sledging tickets can be purchased from the Shop at the Top (£5 for 30 min sledging session). Snow castle and target practise activities are free of charge. Please note that the fun activity area and sledging are weather dependent and we advise you to check the web site or call the information desk to ensure that they are open.
Special Features:
Winter months only. Dec - April. Family fun area includes Sledge Park, Snowcastle and snowball and target snowball practise. This activity area is open subject to snow and weather conditions. Please call 01479 861261 or check the web site to see if the area is open. Sledge Park £5 per 30 min session - inc sledge hire. Sledges cannot be carried on the mountain railway.
