The natural beauty of the mighty river Spey, flowing through some of Scotland's most dramatic mountain and forest scenery, is known the world over. When you add the fact that it's teeming with rich stocks of magnificent Salmon and Sea Trout, it's easy to see why it's also on of the world's four best-renowned fishing rivers. In fact, fishermen come from all over the world to enjoy the challenges and the prime fishing offered throughout the area - from the fly-fishing of fast-flowing stretches, to slower-running pools and lochans. The Brown Trout season runs from 15th March to 30th September, while the Salmon and Sea Trout season if slightly longer, from 11th February to 30th September.
