Aviemore is brilliantly placed to enjoy watersports as the River Spey runs adjacent to the village perfect for canoeing, river tubing and swimming in the summer.

Drift through beautiful and ancient Rothiemurchus Pine forests, with stunning mountain views of the Cairngorms, surrounded by wildlife before running the fun natural water shoots and rapids.  

Slightly further afield you can have a go at canyoning and gorge walking near Laggan and white water rafting on the Findhorn river both just a short drive away.
