Aviemore itself has some brilliant attractions such as the Strathspey Steam Railway, Rothiemurchus Estate, Cairngorm Mountain, the Fun House at Hilton Coylumbridge and the Cairngorm Reindeer Centre but is also brilliantly located to make the most of attractions in the surrounding villages. Nearby at Carrbridge is Landmark Forest Adventure Centre and to the south near Kincraig is the Highland Wildlife Park. In Newtonmore is the Highland Folk Museum a great day out for all ages and free to enter.
